Tithes mean “one-tenth.” It is the duty of a wise steward to offer a tenth of their earnings for the work of the Lord. This is when our treasure can be stored in a precious way.
When a believer has determined in his heart to give tithe at church, he should offer the first portion of what he has to God, before the other things. When we are precise in keeping this aspect of tithing, then the Lord becomes first in our lives.
Tithes can be submitted during offering time on Sundays, or submitted to the church office during the week. Through faithful tithing, we can support the work of God on a regular basis.
