| "Whoever welcomes one of these little
children in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does
not welcome me but the one who sent me." (Mark 9:37)
Children and youth have always been an important asset to
church, and they are indicative of the quality of the church.
A successful church needs a successful youth ministry. That
is why the Evangelical Assembly of Presbyterian Churches puts
a strong focus on our children, and strives to make a fun
and vibrant youth ministry. Through the work of many staff
members and employees, the EAPC is always trying to improve
on the way it teaches its youth as well as nurturing their
growth in Christ. The EAPC also realizes how important it
is for its kids to have a good time as well.
The I Love Jesus Youth Ministry focuses on young children
up to teenagers. We do realize there is a large difference
between the two groups, so that is why there are a variety
of programs and activities to help them mature. Children are
separated by age groups to better fit their levels, which
in turn will help them develop more quickly and effectively.
It is a prime concern for all children growing
up within the EAPC to have Jesus Christ as their center and
as their focus. They should have a firm foundation in the
love of God, leading to absolute faith later in life. An adult
is much more prone to live their lives as Christians if they
have a proper Christian educational upbringing. That is why
we must invest our time and lives into giving youth the full
amount of resources to help them make life long decisions
as followers of Christ.
In addition to learning about the love of Christ, our youth
ministry also puts a large focus on fellowship. As do all
Christians, our youth need to simply meet together for good,
clean fun activities. Through a large variety of games, discussions,
drama plays, musical performances, and such, children and
teens can be able to exalt the Lord while enjoying life. It
is also important to impress upon our youth the importance
of pure extracurricular activities that give praise to God.

Our current era is so overridden with sinful play that children
must grow up in an ppropriate atmosphere to overcome it. Children
and teens should learn how to live properly, honoring God
with their actions, even in their isure time.
At the EAPC, parents can be rest assured that their children
are being taken care of and brought up under the love of God.
Children truly are our future, so they must have strong character
associated with Christ. The EAPC prides itself on this, and
we hope that parents can come to this same conclusion as well.
